John Hancock Vitality - 2018-03-08 - Terms and Conditions

To participate in Found Money promotions, you must have an Acorns account in good standing.

Promotion:  Participation in this promotion with Acorns Grows Incorporated for life insurance products offered by John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.) (“John Hancock”) through licensed representatives of CPS Insurance Services (“CPS”).

Contribution from Acorns:  Five dollars ($5) in Reward Shares. Contributions to your Acorns account will only be made in connection with your receipt of a personalized life insurance quote (“Quote”) from John Hancock as described in detail under Eligible Transaction below.

Eligible Transaction: To obtain a Quote you must click on the John Hancock Vitality link at the Acorns website or within the Acorns mobile application, provide valid contact information including all the information necessary to obtain a Quote and click “Let’s Begin” on the John Hancock Landing Page.  Obtaining a Quote, providing valid contact information including all the information necessary to obtain a Quote and clicking “Let’s Begin” does not obligate you to make a purchase with John Hancock or CPS.  The Eligible Transaction is not an application for insurance.

Limitations:  You are only eligible for one (1) contribution with respect to this promotion.  Limited to individuals who are at least 18 years of age. Subject to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Program Agreement of Acorns and/or its subsidiaries and subject to these John Hancock, Acorns and CPS Terms and Conditions. This Promotion is not available to individuals residing in New York and North Dakota.

Promotion Period:  This Promotion is only available for Quotes that are successfully completed between midnight (Pacific Time) on March 12, 2018 and midnight (Pacific Time) on August 9, 2018.  Acorns may, from time to time, end, extend, shorten, or otherwise modify such time period by posting changes at its website or within the Acorns mobile application.

Notification and Posting:  You will typically be notified within 72 hours of successfully completing an Eligible Transaction, and contributions to your Acorns account will typically be posted within 120 days thereafter. While it is intended that contributions to your Acorns account shall be made within 120 days from the date of the Eligible Transaction, delays may occur and neither Acorns, John Hancock or CPS will be liable in connection with any such delay.

Acorns is not a party to and makes no warranties regarding any purchase from or transaction with John Hancock or CPS, and as such shall not be liable in connection with any dispute, faulty or defective merchandise or other issues that may arise in connection with any such purchase or transaction.  John Hancock is not a party to and makes no warranties regarding this promotion, and as such shall not be liable in connection with any dispute or other issues that may arise in connection with such promotion. You will be notified via e-mail, through the Acorns mobile application or via other means within 72 hours of successfully completing an eligible transaction included within this promotion, however Acorns will not be liable in the event any such notice is not timely sent or received.  Eligibility to participate in certain promotions may require the allowance of cookies on the applicable mobile or desktop device, and may also require other device settings as determined by Acorns from time to time.

To the extent an Acorns customer believes that they are entitled to a reward that has not been contributed to such customer’s Acorns account, such customer must notify Acorns within 60 days from the applicable transaction date by either sending an email to support@acorns.com or completing and submitting a support request at https://www.acorns.com/support/contact.  Acorns will, upon timely receipt of any such notice, investigate such support request, and Acorns’ decision in respect of such matter shall be final and binding. 

Acorns and John Hancock shall be entitled to terminate or cancel all or any portion of this or any other promotion at any time by either providing email notice to its customers or posting such cancellation or termination notice at its website or within its mobile application.
