How Do I Close My Acorns Later Account?

To close your Later account, go to the settings in your Acorns app and tap My Subscription. Then click ‘Close account’ and we’ll guide you through the process.

Just so you know, the IRS requires you to withdraw all the money from retirement accounts before you can close one. Once that withdrawal fully processes, then we’ll review everything and process your account closure request.

You’ll also need a verified checking account linked to Acorns that we can transfer your money into.
