To close your Later account:
For Mobile:
- After logging in to your account, tap the menu (avatar) in the upper left corner of the screen
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "My Subscription"
- Tap "Close account" and we'll guide you through the process
For Web:
- After logging in to your account, click on the menu (avatar) in the upper right corner of the screen
- Click on "Profile & Settings"
- Click on "My Subscription"
- Click on "Close account" and we'll guide you through the process
Just so you know, the IRS requires you to withdraw all the money from retirement accounts before you can close one. Once that withdrawal fully processes, then we’ll review everything and process your account closure request.
You’ll also need a verified checking account linked to Acorns that we can transfer your money into.
