Because Acorns is solely an online investing platform, we do not mail paper checks for withdrawals. If you do not have access to the checking account previously used to fund your investments and want to withdrawal funds, we make changing funding sources easy so your funds can be transferred back electronically. If you would like to change your funding source, please complete these steps:
1. From the main menu, select Settings
2. Select Funding Source
3. Select Change next to the bank currently linked
4. Select Use a Different Bank at the bottom of the page
5. Enter the Routing and Account numbers for the new checking account you want to fund your investments
To ensure your account’s security, we may require documentation verifying your ownership of both the current and new funding sources. If your account requires additional verification, please follow the prompts on the Acorns website and app for additional details.
