How do I withdraw funds from my Acorns Invest account?

You can make a withdrawal from the iOS and Android apps or the web app. Please follow the below instructions for each platform.

How to make a withdrawal from the Android or iOS apps

1. Sign into your account via your Android or iOS device.
2. Select your “Invest” account
3. Choose the Withdraw option from the main options for Round-Ups, One-Time, and Withdraw
4. Enter the dollar amount you would like to withdraw. Confirm the displayed funding source is where you’d like to receive the funds.
5. Select "Withdraw" and confirm

How to make a withdrawal from the web app

1. Sign into your account via the web app.
2. Select your “Invest” account
3. Select the Withdraw option from the upper right buttons for Round-Ups, One-Time, and Withdraw
4. Enter the dollar amount you would like to withdraw. Confirm the displayed funding source is where you’d like to receive the funds.
5. Select "Withdraw" and continue

Note: Withdrawal requests placed before 11am PST on a market day typically will be processed the same day. If your request was made after 11am PST on a market day, Acorns will sell shares the following day that markets are open. It can take 3-6 business days for withdrawals to transfer to your funding source. Regulatory requirements dictate a mandatory two day settlement period after shares are sold from your Invest account before we transfer funds to your bank account.
