To close your Acorns Checking account, follow the steps below:
For Mobile:
- After logging in to your account, tap the menu (avatar) in the upper left corner of the screen
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "My Subscription"
- Tap "Close account" and we’ll guide you through the process
For Web:
- After logging in to your account, click on the menu (avatar) in the upper right corner of the screen
- Click on "Profile & Settings"
- Click on "My Subscription"
- Click on "Close account" in the upper right bubble, and we’ll guide you through the process.
You’ll also need a verified checking account linked to Acorns that we can transfer your money into.
