Changing my Funding Source

To ensure your account’s security, we may require documentation verifying your ownership of both the current and new funding sources. If your account requires additional verification, please follow the prompts on the Acorns website and app for additional details.

 You can change your checking account by completing the following steps:

  1. From the main menu, select My Settings

  2. Select Linked Accounts

    1. For Web: 

      1. Tap on the … at the top of your screen
    2. For Mobile: 
      • Tap on the … at the top of your screen

      • You will then be presented with a Change Primary Checking option at the bottom of your screen
