Official Rules

1. PLEASE REVIEW THE “DISPUTES” SECTION BELOW REGARDING YOUR RIGHTS IN ANY DISPUTE INVOLVING THIS CONTEST, INCLUDING A MANDATORY ARBITRATION CLAUSE AND A WAIVER OF A JURY TRIAL OR CLASS ACTION, THAT LIMITS YOUR RELIEF.

2. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. ACORNS INVEST ACCOUNT (WHICH REQUIRES A MINIMUM COST OF $3 PER MONTH) IS REQUIRED TO REDEEM PRIZE AND IS SUBJECT TO ACORNS’ PROGRAM AGREEMENT, TERMS, AND PRIVACY POLICY. The Guess the Spare Change Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Acorns Grow Incorporated (“Acorns”). Contest is offered only at the Tour Stops identified in these Official Rules (the “Contest Area”). Void outside the Contest Area and where prohibited by law.

Introduction 

3. Contest offers one (1) Grand Prize at each Tour Stop (defined below) to the eligible entrant who most precisely guesses the total monetary amount, in United States Dollars, of a large jar (or similar container) of US currency coins (or similar replicates thereof) displayed by Acorns or its designee (the “Contest Jar”), without exceeding the actual amount in the Contest Jar. Each Tour Stop constitutes a separate and independent Contest with its own entry period and Grand Prize. The Schedule of Tour Stops and applicable Entry Deadlines is as follows: Tour Stop 1: Charlotte, NC — March 3, 2026 — Entry Deadline: 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Tour Stop 2: Seattle, WA — March 12, 2026 — Entry Deadline: 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Tour Stop 3: San Diego, CA — March 14, 2026 — Entry Deadline: 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Tour Stop 4: Dallas, TX — March 25, 2026 — Entry Deadline: 11:59 PM Central Time. Tour Stop 5: Boston, MA — March 31, 2026 — Entry Deadline: 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Tour Stop 6: Minneapolis, MN — April 9, 2026 — Entry Deadline: 11:59 PM Central Time. Acorns’ computer is the official time-keeping device for this Contest.

4. Contest is subject to all federal, state and/or local laws. Acorns shall be entitled to interpret these official rules (“Official Rules”) as needed — including without limitation rules regarding eligibility, entries, deadlines, winner selection and prize restrictions. By participating, you unconditionally accept and agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Acorns, including the interpretation of these Official Rules and its exercise of discretion, all of which are final and binding in all respects. 5. If required for the prize, winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC (or its equivalent) reflecting the Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the prize, and he/she/they will be solely and exclusively responsible for all state, federal or local income taxes that may result from his/her/their acceptance of the prize.

Eligibility

6. No Acorns account is required to enter the Contest. To be eligible to participate,  you must be eighteen (18) years old or older and above the age of majority in your state of residence, a legal resident of the Contest Area (above) and physically present at the applicable Tour Stop at the time of entry. In addition, you must have an active Acorns Invest account in good standing (defined below) to claim prize and must begin account sign-up within 72 hours of receiving notice that you are a potential winner. See Winner Selection, Notification & Verification for more details. A minimum $3 per month charge and agreement to Acorns’ program agreement applies to maintain an Acorns Invest account. Subscribing to any Acorns’ pricing plan is sufficient. Acorns reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine and verify eligibility at any time before or after the award of the prize and to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not satisfy all eligibility requirements at any relevant time.

7. Employees, associates, officers, directors, volunteers and agents of Acorns, Barstool Sports, Inc., Chicks in the Office LLC, or any other entity directly involved in the development, administration or execution of the Contest, and the members of their immediate families and households are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” shall mean spouse, partner, parents, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. 

Prize & Prize Restrictions

8. There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded per Tour Stop, which shall be a One Thousand Dollar ($1,000) investment deposited into the winner’s Acorns Invest account, or an equivalent value prize in Acorns’ sole discretion. The Grand Prize is a fixed amount and is not based on, equal to, or otherwise tied to the actual monetary value of the contents of the Contest Jar. The contents of the Contest Jar may vary at each Tour Stop and are determined solely by Acorns in its discretion, including for the purpose of maintaining contest integrity and preventing gaming. Acorns reserves the right to adjust the Contest Jar contents at any Tour Stop at any time without notice and without affecting the Grand Prize amount.  In the event of a tie for the Winning Guess at any Tour Stop, the tied entrants will split the Grand Prize equally among them.

9. All prize details shall be at Acorns’ sole discretion. Prize offered is provided “as is” with no warranty or guarantee either express or implied by Released Parties (below). Without limiting the foregoing, Released Parties have neither made nor are responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize. Acorns reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (i) substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize cannot be awarded as described, (ii) cancel the Grand Prize for any individual Tour Stop if Acorns determines, in its sole discretion, that an insufficient number of valid entries have been received for that Tour Stop, and (iii) cancel any individual Tour Stop contest without affecting the validity or operation of any other Tour Stop contest. Other restrictions apply.

10. Winner assumes sole responsibility for all expenses and incidental costs associated with the prize not expressly included in the prize description above, including without limitation, all federal, state and/or local taxes, including sales, use and income taxes (if any), surcharges, fees and/or other items.

11. Prize will be deposited into the winner’s Acorns Invest account in the name of the winner. No payments will be made to third parties. Prize may be subject to federal withholding requirements. Prize payout will go to the winner’s Acorns Invest account, which must be open, active, and in Good Standing at all relevant times. “Good Standing” means an Acorns Invest account with a verified linked funding source for which all required account opening documentation has been completed, and which has  an account status that is not locked, suspended, or otherwise restricted in any way, in the sole discretion of Acorns and/or its affiliated entities that it controls or are under common control of Acorns (“Affiliated Entities”). If Acorns determines, at any time, that a winner was ineligible to participate or claim the prize, or that the winner violated these Official Rules or obtained the prize through fraud, misrepresentation, or any other unauthorized means, Acorns reserves the right to disqualify such winner and to recover, offset, or reverse the prize deposit, including by reversing any investment made into the winner’s Acorns Invest account, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Eligible winner(s) must have an Acorns Invest account to redeem prize, which requires signing up for an Acorns Invest Account at https://www.acorns.com/ or via the Acorns App, both of which require affirmative agreement with the Acorns’ Program Agreement at https://www.acorns.com/program-agreement/ and are subject to the Acorns’ Terms and Conditions at https://www.acorns.com/terms, and the Privacy Policy at https://www.acorns.com/privacy.

12. AS NOTED ABOVE, AN ACORNS INVEST ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED TO REDEEM PRIZE. RISK DISCLOSURE: Investing involves risk including the loss of principal. Entries

13. Entries for each Tour Stop will be accepted beginning when the Contest Jar is first displayed at the applicable Tour Stop and ending on at 11:59 PM local time on the date of the applicable Tour Stop (each, an  “Entry Deadline”). To enter you must be physically present at the applicable Tour Stop and examine (visually only) the Contest Jar displayed by Acorns or its designee at the Tour Stop (in-person ) and guess the exact total monetary amount in United States Dollars of the contents of the Contest Jar. Then visit https://www.acorns.com/guess (the “Contest Page”), which may also be accessed via QR code displayed at the Tour Stop, and follow the instructions to complete an official entry form with any required information, which may include your valid email address, full name, and your Guess. This is the only method of entry. Entries will not be accepted via any other method. Acorns reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules or that Acorns determines to be incomplete, inaccurate, or otherwise invalid.

14. Entry deadline for each Tour Stop is 11:59 PM local time on the date of the applicable Tour Stop, as specified above. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt by Acorns. Acorns will not accept screen shots as proof of entry.

15. IMPORTANT: MESSAGE AND/OR DATA RATES MAY APPLY TO THE USE OF MOBILE PHONES/DEVICES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST. WIRELESS SERVICE MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ALL AREAS. EACH WIRELESS CARRIER’S DATA RATE PLAN MAY VARY, AND YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR WIRELESS CARRIER FOR INFORMATION ON DATA RATE PLANS AND CHARGES RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST.

16. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per Tour Stop. If multiple entries are received from any person for the same Tour Stop, Acorns reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify all such entries or to consider only the first entry received from such person. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed, mechanical, script, macro, or any other automated means or similar entry methods or agents (including, but not limited to, contest-entry services or multiple or different email addresses or mobile devices, or the submission of false contact information under multiple or different email addresses, mobile devices, identities, registrations, accounts or logins) or any other devices or artifices to enter or encourage, directly or indirectly, multiple or false entries are prohibited and suspected or detected entry method violations may void some or all entries submitted by that entrant, in Acorns’ sole discretion.

17. Each entry must include a valid email address for the entrant and each entrant remains solely responsible for notifying Acorns of changes in his/her/their contact information. Released Parties are not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant’s email or other account to receive messages. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a winner based on an email address, the entry will be deemed made by the “Authorized Account Holder” of the email address used for the entry. The Authorized Account Holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by the relevant Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the corresponding domain. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any entrant, the potential winner agrees to furnish requested documentation confirming his/her/their status as the Authorized Account Holder. If such a dispute cannot be resolved to Acorns‘ satisfaction in its sole discretion, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.

18. Entrants who fail to provide any required information may be disqualified without further notification by Acorns. Entrants agree that Released Parties are not responsible for entries that are lost, misdirected, undelivered, garbled, distorted, truncated, incomplete, illegible, incorrect or late for any reason, and all such entries are void. Acorns reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry at any time that in its opinion does not comply with these Official Rules.

19. The information that you provide in connection with the Contest may be used by Acorns in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is found at https://www.acorns.com/privacy/ and which may be updated from time to time. 

Winner Selection, Notification & Verification

20. Within a reasonable time following each Tour Stop’s Entry Deadline, Acorns will calculate the total amount of change contained in the Contest Jar for that Tour Stop (the “Jar Value”), which calculation shall be final and binding on all entrants. Acorns will review all timely and properly submitted entries to identify the Guess that is the most accurate without exceeding the Jar Value (the “Winning Guess”). Subject to verification of eligibility, the entrant with the Winning Guess will be declared the potential winner for that Tour Stop. In the event of a tie for the Winning Guess, the tied entrants will split the Grand Prize equally.

21. Acorns will contact the potential winner using the information provided at the time of entry. Contact will typically be made within forty-eight (48) hours following the applicable Tour Stop but may be delayed in Acorns’ sole discretion. Potential winner must respond to such notification and commence sign up for an Acorns Invest Account (min $3/mo) within seventy-two (72) hours to claim prize. Potential winner may be asked to provide his/her/their full name and any requested contact information, which may include complete mailing address (street addresses only; no P.O. Boxes will be accepted). Potential winner may be required to present valid photo identification and/or to execute and return an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability waiver, publicity release (where legal), tax forms and/or other legal documents to Acorns within five (5) business days after initial notification and as a condition of receiving the prize and of continued eligibility. Acorns in its sole discretion may allow for transmission of any verification materials via fax or email.

22. If the potential winner (a) cannot be contacted directly by, or does not respond to, Acorns or its designee within the time stated above, (b) fails to satisfy any eligibility or verification requirement herein, (c) declines to accept the prize, or (d) is otherwise determined to be ineligible, such potential winner shall be deemed to have forfeited all rights to the prize and Acorns shall have no further obligation to such individual. Acorns in its discretion may disqualify that individual and an alternate winner will be determined in accordance with the preceding selection process as soon as reasonably practicable after such disqualification. Alternate winner must respond to initial notification within seventy-two (72) hours and provide any requested verification paperwork within five (5) business days. If Acorns is unable to identify an eligible winner for any Tour Stop after reasonable efforts, Acorns reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decline to award the Grand Prize for that Tour Stop, with no liability or obligation to any entrant. Confirmed winner will receive instructions from Acorns or its designee for coordinating the deposit of the prize into his/her/their Acorns Invest account.

23. Acorns may, in its sole discretion, post the verified winner’s name on the Contest Page and/or any of its websites, including https://www.acorns.com/ and on or in any of its social media pages or channels. Except as provided in these Official Rules or otherwise required by law, Acorns is not responsible for entering into any correspondence or discussion regarding any Contest results.

24. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to award Acorns the perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right and license to use and publicize his/her/their name, photographs, likeness, biographical information, email address, voice, statements, and details of winning, in any medium or format now known or hereafter developed, including without limitation print, digital, social media, streaming, broadcast, and online platforms, for purposes of this and future promotions, advertising, and marketing, without further compensation or approval, except where prohibited by law.

Liability Release

25. By participating in the Contest or accepting a prize, you agree that Acorns, Barstool Sports, Inc., Chicks in the Office LLC, Acorns Advisers, LLC, Acorns Securities, LLC, any other company involved in the development or administration of this Contest, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, franchisees, and all of their respective officers, directors, agents, employees and related persons (collectively, the “Released Parties”): (a) are not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including but not limited to: failed, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, garbled or delayed transmissions, telephone connections, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website; or disconnected, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic; or entries that for any reason are not properly submitted or received by Acorns by any deadline stated above; (b) are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or other participants, printing, typographical or other errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or in the printing of this offer, administration of this Contest, or in the selection, determination or announcement of the winner or prize, or otherwise in any Contest-related materials; (c) are not responsible for any injury or damage to any computer, tablet, smartphone, modem or other device as a result of participation in this Contest or downloading of any software or materials; (d) are not responsible for unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Contest; (e) are not responsible for any unauthorized third-party use of any entry materials; (f) are not responsible for the inability to select or determine winner because of postal failure, equipment failure, or data storage failure; (g) are not responsible for any printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error that may occur in the administration of the Contest, the acceptance of entries, the selection or determination of winner, the award of prize or otherwise in any Contest-related materials or activity; and (h) are released from any and all alleged, existing, or future actions, claims, and/or liabilities of whatever nature including, but not limited to, personal injury, bodily injury (including, without limitation, wrongful death and disability), property damage, and expense (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) and loss or damage of any other kind, arising in whole or in part directly or indirectly, from participating in, or traveling to participate in, any part of the Contest (in whole or in part), the use (including modification, adaptation, and reproduction) of entry materials during or after the Contest, and the delivery, acceptance, possession, redemption, use, misuse, loss, or misdirection of the prize.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

26. RELEASED PARTIES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND (WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RELEASED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES MADE OR OFFERED BY ADVERTISERS, PARTNERS, MANUFACTURERS OR SUPPLIERS, INCLUDING THOSE RELATED TO ANY PRIZE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL RELEASED PARTIES BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR YOUR USE OF THE INFORMATION AND/OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED AND/OR MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE CONTEST OR FOR ERRORS OR ANOMALIES RESULTING IN THE UNINTENDED OR ERRONEOUS PARTICIPATION, AWARD OF ANY PRIZE OR OTHER BENEFITS UNDER THESE OFFICIAL RULES. RELEASED PARTIES OFFER NO ASSURANCES, GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES THAT THE CONTEST PAGE OR RELATED WEBSITES OR MOBILE PLATFORMS, OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE FEATURES OR FUNCTIONALITIES, WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE AND DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE CONTEST.

27. BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, ACCEPTING A PRIZE AND/OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT (A) ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION (AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANDATORY ARBITRATION PARAGRAPH BELOW); (B) ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, INCLUDING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THE CONTEST, NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS' FEES; AND (C) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND YOU HEREBY WAIVE ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (D) YOUR REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND YOU IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND THEREFORE THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN WHOLE OR IN PART.

Miscellaneous

28. Acorns reserves the right to cancel, suspend or terminate this Contest, or any part thereof, if Acorns determines, in its sole discretion, that the security, administration, fairness and/or operation of the Contest has been corrupted or impaired by any non-authorized intervention, network failure, information storage failure, telecommunications failure, regularly scheduled maintenance, malfunction, or any other cause beyond Acorns‘ control. In such an event, Acorns will post notice of same at the Contest Page and determine the winner in accordance with above-described selection process from all non-suspect entries received prior to the suspension, cancellation or termination of the Contest, or in such other manner as Acorns, in its sole discretion, deems fair and appropriate under the circumstances.

29. Acorns reserves the right to disqualify any individual from further participation in the Contest if Acorns concludes, in its sole discretion, that such person (a) has attempted to tamper with any entry or selection process or any other operation of the Contest, (b) has disregarded or has attempted to circumvent these Official Rules, (c) has acted towards Acorns or any other entrant or participant in an unfair, inequitable, deliberately annoying, threatening, disrupting or harassing manner, or (d) for any suspected fraudulent or otherwise unauthorized conduct. Tampering includes attempting to enter more than the number of times permitted herein, including by using any prohibited device or method. Any failure by Acorns to enforce any of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of such Official Rules. Acorns reserves the right to amend, modify, or supplement these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, without prior notice. Any such amendments will be effective immediately upon posting to the Contest Page and shall be binding on all entrants. Entrants are responsible for reviewing the Official Rules periodically for any changes. Continued participation in the Contest following the posting of any amendment constitutes acceptance of such amendment.

30. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY INDIVIDUAL TO DEFRAUD, TAMPER WITH, OR DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE, THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND ACORNS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PURSUE ANY AVAILABLE DAMAGES OR REMEDIES AGAINST SUCH INDIVIDUAL AND/OR REFER SUCH MATTERS TO LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR PROSECUTION TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

31. All activity arising out of and relating to the Contest, including any reference to the status of any person as a ”winner,” is subject to verification and/or auditing for compliance with the Official Rules. If Acorns determines, in its sole discretion, that verification or auditing activity evidences non-compliance of any entry and/or entrant with the Official Rules, Acorns reserves the right to disqualify such entry and/or entrant from the Contest and the prize at any time. Each participant agrees to cooperate with Acorns and its representatives in connection with all verification and/or auditing activities.

32. Acorns reserves the right to correct typographical, printing or clerical errors in any Contest-related materials. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. If production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Acorns reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing from among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims. 

33. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between any terms or conditions of these Official Rules and any disclosures or other statements contained in any other Contest-related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry forms, point of sale, television, print, mobile or online advertising, or onsite signage or other materials, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

Any third-party trademarks mentioned herein are the property of their respective trademark owners and the use or mention of any such third-party trademarks in these Official Rules or in the Contest is solely for descriptive purposes and shall in no way imply an endorsement or sponsorship of the Contest or of Acorns. Any questions or complaints about this Contest must be directed to Acorns and not to such third parties.

Arbitration

35. As set out below, the parties each agree to finally settle all disputes only through arbitration; provided, however, Acorns shall be entitled to seek injunctive or equitable relief in the state and federal courts in the State of California, and any other court with jurisdiction over the parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, as a condition of participating in this Contest, each participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, controversies or causes of action arising out of or relating to this Contest, or the prize offered or awarded (each, a “Claim”), shall be resolved through arbitration. In arbitration, there is no judge or jury, and review is limited. The arbitrator’s decision and award are final and binding, with limited exceptions, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The parties agree that, except as set forth above, any claim, suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Contest shall be resolved solely by binding arbitration before a sole arbitrator under the streamlined Arbitration Rules Procedures of JAMS Inc. (“JAMS”) or any successor to JAMS. In the event JAMS is unwilling or unable to set a hearing date within fourteen (14) days of the filing of a “Demand for Arbitration”, then either party can elect to have the arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) or any other mutually agreeable arbitration administration service. If an in-person hearing is required, then it will take place in the State of California. Federal or state law that applies to these Official Rules will also apply during the arbitration. Disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis and will not be consolidated with any other proceedings that involve any claims or controversy of another party, including any class actions; provided, however, if for any reason any court or arbitrator holds that this restriction is unconscionable or unenforceable, then the agreement to arbitrate doesn’t apply and the dispute must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of California. Acorns agrees to pay the administrative and arbitrator’s fees to conduct the arbitration (but specifically excluding any travel or other costs of entrant to attend the arbitration hearing). Either party may, notwithstanding this provision, bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

Choice of Law & Venue

36. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrants or other participants or Released Parties in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by California law, without giving effect to any choice of law rules that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California.

37. By entering, accepting a prize and/or otherwise participating in the Contest, you expressly (a) agree that any legal proceedings arising out of or relating in any way to this Contest or these Official Rules that are not subject to mandatory arbitration shall be brought only in the federal or state courts located in the State of California, and (b) consent to the mandatory and exclusive jurisdiction in such courts with respect to any such legal proceedings.

Winner’s List & Official Rules

38. For a copy of the Official Rules or any legally required Winner’s List, mail a SASE to: Guess the Spare Change Contest c/o Acorns, 5300 California Ave., Irvine, California 92617 (specifying either “Winner’s List” or “Official Rules”). Winner’s List will be available after May 9, 2026. Winner’s List requests must be received no later than June 9, 2026.
