Mighty Oak Card Promotions

Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) relate solely to the Acorns Mighty Oak Debit Card, issued by nbkc Bank (“Mighty Oak Card”). Failure to consistently maintain your Acorns Mighty Oak Debit Card in an open and good standing state, will cause you to become immediately ineligible for the promotions described herein (“Promotions”). Failure to maintain any of your Acorns Accounts in good standing will cause you to become ineligible for the Promotions.

Promotions: (1) Mighty Oak Waiver, and (2) Mighty Oak Matching.

Mighty Oak Waiver.

Promotion: Eligible Mighty Oak Card holders with qualifying Direct Deposit can receive a waiver (not to exceed $9/month) of the monthly Acorns Subscription Fee (see Acorns Program Agreement for more information on Subscription Fees).

Initial Eligibility Criteria: Mighty Oak Card customers who: (i) set up Direct Deposit via their payroll provider for the Acorns Checking Account, (ii) have a minimum of $250 Direct Deposited into their Acorns Checking Account within 45 days of sign-up for the Mighty Oak Card, and (iii) have an open and activated Mighty Oak Card and all Acorns accounts in good standing on their Fee Date, shall have a full waiver of their Subscription Fee (the “Mighty Oak Waiver”).

Continued Eligibility:In order to continue to receive the Mighty Oak Waiver each month, you must (i) maintain your Mighty Oak Card and Acorns Checking Account in an open and good standing condition on each Fee Date, (ii) have at least $250 deposited into your Acorns Checking Account via Direct Deposit in the calendar month prior to each Fee Date, and (iii) remain in the $5 subscription Tier or higher (downgrades will permanently disqualify you from the Mighty Oak Waiver).

Limitations: You may only have one active waiver at a time, so if you currently are eligible for another waiver through Acorns, the highest value waiver will be applied to your Subscription Fee.

Mighty Oak Matching

Promotion: Eligible Mighty Oak Card holders can receive a match of their first seven (7) Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments generated by their Acorns Mighty Oak Card.

Eligibility Criteria: Mighty Oak Card customers who: (i) have an open and activated Mighty Oak Card, and (ii) have automatic Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments turned on for their Acorns Mighty Oak Card, will be eligible to have their first seven (7) Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments matched (the “Mighty Oak Match”).

Limitations: Only Real-Time Round-Ups® generated by your Acorns Mighty Oak Card in the one (1) year following initial card opening are eligible for the Mighty Oak Matching Promotion. Any downgrade of Subscription Tiers or Acorns Mighty Oak Card cancellation or closure will disqualify you from this Promotion. You must maintain each of your Mighty Oak Card, Acorns Checking Account, and Acorns Invest Account in an open and good standing condition on each Round-Ups® investment date. Round-Ups® multipliers will not be matched (e.g., if you have a $0.30 Round-Ups® and a 2X multiplier, Acorns will match $0.30). Round-Ups® investments generated from (i) any other card or account, (ii) manual Round-Ups®, and (iii) whole dollar Round-Ups®, will not be eligible for the Mighty Oak Match. All Real-Time Round-Ups® are in the form of investments in your Acorns Invest Account.

General Terms

There is no option for a cash alternative to these promotions. If a customer, for any reason, ceases to be a Mighty Oak cardholder, that customer is no longer eligible for these promotions. The Mighty Oak Waiver is a fee waiver, meaning you will not be charged a fee on your Fee Date, and the Mighty Oak Matching is an additional Real-Time Round-Ups® investment in your Acorns Invest Account.

To the extent you believe that you are entitled to a Mighty Oak Waiver or Mighty Oak Matching that has not been applied, you must notify Acorns within 30 days from the applicable Fee Date by either sending an email to support@acorns.com or completing and submitting a support request at https://www.acorns.com/support/contact. Acorns will, upon timely receipt of any such notice, investigate such support request, and Acorns’ decision in respect of such matter shall be final and binding.

Acorns shall be entitled to terminate or cancel all or any portion of this or any other promotion at any time by either providing email notice to its customers or posting such cancellation or termination notice at its website or within its mobile application. In addition, Acorns reserves the right to reject or void all or any portion of a contribution under this or any other promotion at any time if Acorns suspects the claim to that contribution was obtained or made fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these terms. Once an Acorns Invest account is closed, all pending Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments that have not yet been invested will be canceled, including Mighty Oak Matching.

Brokerage services are provided to clients of Acorns Advisers by Acorns Securities, LLC, an SEC-registered broker-dealer and member FINRA/SIPC.

Acorns is not a bank. Acorns Visa™ debit cards and banking services are issued by Lincoln Savings Bank or nbkc, members FDIC for Acorns checking holders. Investments are not FDIC insured.

The Mighty Oak Matching incentive is intended to encourage Acorns clients to routinely invest by utilizing the automatic Real-Time Round-Ups® feature, available to all clients with an active Invest account and Mighty Oak debit card. Although the incentive may attract new customers and increase customer engagement and retention, it is important to note that Acorns Advisers does not receive compensation in the form of “payment for order flow” for directing customer orders, or charge clients percentage-based fees or fees based on a percentage of assets under management for accounts under $1,000,000, and so conflicts of interest between Acorns Advisers and its clients due to this incentive are limited.
