Acorns $25 Invest My Tips New Customer Incentive Promotion Terms and Conditions

Acorns Grow Incorporated (“Acorns”) $25 Invest My Tips New Customer Incentive (the “Promotion”) is subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein.

First Time Acorns Customers are eligible to receive a $25 bonus investment by Acorns into their Acorns Invest Account (the “Reward Shares”) if they, as a Tipper: (1) complete a Qualified Tip to a Tip Recipient for an Eligible Service through Invest My Tips; (2) set up an Acorns User Account through the link provided after making the Qualified Tip; (3) open an Acorns Invest Account; and (4) set up and deposit a recurring investment of $5 or more into their Acorns Invest Account.

This offer is available during the Offer Period. "Offer Period" means the period beginning at September 30, 2026, until such time as Acorns shall end the Offer Period in its sole discretion, with or without notice, for First Time Acorns Users.

Definitions

First Time Acorns Customer means an individual who has never previously been an Acorns Customer, subscribed to or begun the sign-up process for the Acorns Platform, and/or opened any Acorns Account. A First Time Acorns Customer must be a United States legal resident or citizen that currently resides in the United States, or an active Armed Service personnel that maintains a U.S. address and is temporarily overseas in connection with his or her service.

Eligible Service means a lawful service personally provided by a Tip Recipient while performing the duties of an occupation listed in Table 1 to 26 C.F.R. § 1.224-1(h), as amended. An assistant or apprentice qualifies only while performing the same services described for the listed occupation. Acorns may determine and change eligible occupations and service categories in its sole discretion. 

Good Standing means an account with a verified linked funding source for which all required account opening documentation has been completed, and an account status that is not locked, suspended, or otherwise restricted in any way, in Acorns or its affiliated entities’ sole discretion.

Qualified Tip means a genuine and voluntary payment submitted through Invest My Tips by a Tipper for an Eligible Service provided by the Tip Recipient that: (i) exceeds the amount agreed to or required to be paid for the Eligible Service; (ii) is at least $5.00 and no more than $250.00; (iii) has successfully settled and has not been charged back, reversed, or otherwise returned; and (iv) was not submitted by the Tip Recipient, a person acting on the Tip Recipient’s behalf, or through conduct intended to circumvent this Promotion, the terms applicable to Tippers or Tip Recipients, or any transaction limit or control, or for any unauthorized or unlawful purpose. A Qualified Tip does not include, by way of example and without limitation, a mandatory service charge, required fee, commission, or gift, or a payment that is unrelated to an Eligible Service, is paid between colluding persons, or is made for any unlawful purpose.

Tipper means an individual who personally receives an Eligible Service and sends a purported Tip to the Tip Recipient using the Tip Recipient’s Code. Tipper may also include an individual who, as the parent or legal guardian of a minor who personally receives an Eligible Service, sends a purported Tip using the Tip Recipient’s Code. The parent or legal guardian, not the minor, is the Tipper and party to this Tipper Agreement. 

Tip Recipient means an eligible Acorns Customer who agrees to the terms applicable to Tip Recipients and uses Invest My Tips to receive Qualified Tips for Eligible Services. 

All capitalized terms used but not otherwise defined herein have the same meaning as in the following order (1) the Invest My Tips Tipper Terms, (2) the Invest My Tips Tip Recipient Terms, or, if not defined therein, the Acorns Program Agreement.

Eligibility

The First Time Acorns User’s account must be maintained in Good Standing at all times relevant to this Promotion. Acorns, in limited cases and in its sole discretion, may waive certain reward eligibility criteria. Acorns reserves the right to request additional documentation for identity and/or bank account verification before issuing any payment.

Reward Shares are typically deposited within 30-45 days of the date the eligibility criteria above are satisfied. This timeline may be delayed in Acorns’ sole discretion if, by way of example and not limitation, Acorns determines or suspects that there are indications of fraud, unauthorized activity, and/or a violation of the Program Agreement or these terms and conditions.

In the event Acorns determines at any time and in its sole discretion that there may have been (i) unauthorized or fraudulent activity related to any account; (ii) a violation of the Program Agreement, any terms applicable to Invest My Tips or the customer, or these terms and conditions; and/or (iii) that an Acorns User Account is otherwise not in Good Standing, whether or not in connection with the Promotion, Invest My Tips, Acorns, by and through any of its affiliated entities, further reserves the right to decline to grant any Reward Amount; and/or withhold, rescind, delay, liquidate, recapture, and/or claw back any Reward Shares already provided and any security or related dollar proceeds derived from such Reward Shares.

Each First Time Acorns User is eligible to receive one (1) Reward Amount under this Promotion, regardless of the number of tips sent or Tip Recipients tipped.

Relationship to Program Agreement and Termination

Participation in this Promotion remains at all times subject to the terms and conditions of the Program Agreement. This includes, without limitation, the “Dispute Resolution” Section (which includes without limitation your mandatory arbitration agreement); the “Liability” Section (which includes limitation of liability and indemnification provisions); and the “Miscellaneous” Section of the Program Agreement. These shall apply to this Agreement to the same extent as they apply to the Program Agreement. All Reward Shares credited to you under this Agreement are subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the Program Agreement relating to Reward Shares. To the limited extent the express terms and conditions of this Agreement and those of the Program Agreement directly conflict, this Agreement shall govern. Acorns reserves the right to change these terms and conditions; to terminate this Promotion at any time with or without notice; and/or to modify these terms by posting the same to the Acorns Website. This Promotion is not transferable, saleable, or valid in conjunction with certain other offers.

Invest My Tips participation subject to separate eligibility requirements.

This Promotion is a limited time offer. There is no cash value equivalent and there is no option for a cash alternative to this Promotion. Rewards are made at the sole discretion of Acorns. Acorns reserves the right to restrict or revoke any and all offers at any time. Acorns, in limited cases and in its sole discretion, may waive certain reward eligibility criteria when a new customer does not meet all criteria during the promotional period. Acorns reserves the right to request additional documentation for identity and/or bank account verification before issuing payments.
